Collaborating for Youth Development

The NASASA Youth Employment Project (NYEP) is an official implementation initiative under the Presidential Youth Employment Intervention’s National Pathway Management Network (NPMN) Innovation Fund, led by the National Department of Employment and Labour and administered by the IDC.

Collaboration Opportunities:

Expand the program beyond the initial 1,000 youth target
Support additional candidates to write the RE5 exam (currently limited to 250)
Program scaling through public-private partnerships
Intergation with existing government youth initiatives
Regulatory support and alignment
Access to youth databases and recruitment channels
Joint monitoring and evaluation frameworks

We invite public sector stakeholders to engage with us on creating sustainable pathways to employment for South Africa’s youth.

As a licensed financial services provider, NASASA brings industry expertise and regulatory compliance to this initiative. Our program offers a scalable model that can be replicated across provinces to address local youth unemployment challenges while supporting the development of the financial services sector and expanding access to underserved communities.
