This is a declaration made by each Stokvel member, to the group they belong to, to NASASA and to the Stokvel community in its entirety.

I declare, in the presence of my fellow Stokvel members, my commitment to the principles and values that bind us as a collective. In being part of this esteemed Stokvel, I pledge to uphold the spirit of trust, camaraderie, and mutual support that defines our unique financial community.

I acknowledge the importance of the relationships we nurture within this close-knit circle, and I commit to fostering an environment of openness, respect, and genuine connection.

I embrace the responsibility bestowed upon me as a member of this Stokvel, understanding that my actions have a direct impact on the well-being and prosperity of our collective. With gratitude, I acknowledge the trust you have placed in me, and I promise to contribute my fair share, both in financial terms and in the spirit of cooperation.

I vow to actively participate in our regular meetings, fostering transparent communication and collective decision-making. I recognize the importance of these gatherings as platforms for sharing ideas, addressing concerns, and collectively steering our Stokvel towards shared goals.

In matters of financial transparency, I pledge to maintain records of my contributions, benefits received, and any other financial transactions. I understand that this commitment not only upholds the integrity of our Stokvel but also contributes to the overall trust and confidence we place in one another.

I commit to embracing the rules and regulations governing our community. As a proud member of this Stokvel, I reject any engagement in activities that may bring harm or disrepute to our group. I pledge to report promptly and truthfully any suspicious activities that may jeopardize the well-being of our Stokvel.

Finally, I acknowledge the role of the National Stokvel Association of South Africa (NASASA) in overseeing and safeguarding the interests of Stokvels. I recognize NASASA as the authoritative custodian of our Stokvel practices and commit to abiding by its regulations, ensuring that our actions align with legal and ethical standards.
